ZephyrPay is not a bank. The services described are not yet available. They will be offered with licensed partners, subject to regulatory approval in each jurisdiction.

Know the person, not the rail.

Today, paying someone means knowing their bank, their operator, their account number and the network in between. If one of them changes, the payment breaks. We are building ZephyrPay so you can pay a person, wherever their money lives.

Money is social. Borders make it expensive.

People send money home, pay a supplier in the next country, share the rent. Once the money crosses a border, the same simple act becomes slow and costly.

Questions and answers

What ZephyrPay is, where it starts and how it keeps your money and your details safe.

What is ZephyrPay?
An app to send, save and get paid with one address, your @name. You pay a person by their @name, their number or a QR code. ZephyrPay finds where the money can land, shows you the full price before you confirm and gives you proof when it arrives.
Is ZephyrPay a bank?
No. ZephyrPay is not a bank. The services described on this site are not yet available. They will be offered with licensed partners, subject to regulatory approval in each jurisdiction.
Where will ZephyrPay be available?
First in Ghana and the eight countries of the UEMOA: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo. Then the rest of Africa, through partner networks. Europe later, as one economic area. See where we'll be.
When will the app launch?
ZephyrPay is coming soon on iPhone and Android. We will announce the launch on this site.
How much will it cost?
You will always see the full price, in your currency, before you confirm a payment. Nothing is taken without you seeing it first.

Who can see my phone number or bank account?
People who pay you see your @name, your display name and your city. Your phone number, bank account, mobile money wallet and ID stay private. See security and privacy.
Can someone receive money without the app?
Yes. You can attach money to a message. The person claims it, chooses where it lands, and only then creates their @name.
What is a Soso?
A savings circle, also called tontine or susu. Each member pays in every round and one member receives the pot, turn by turn. ZephyrPay keeps the rules and the turns visible to everyone in the group.
Can I let someone else pay for me?
Yes, within limits you set. Your child, your accountant or your assistant can pay for what you allow, up to an amount per week, and ask you above a threshold. You see every payment and can revoke access in one tap.
